The Juniors Journey difference

Our Children

Every child is special. We celebrate diversity and welcome children from different backgrounds, cultures and abilities, acknowledging their individuality to provide an enriching learning environment tailored to the individual child. We aim to develop resilient children by equipping them to handle the challenges of our world and build strong and trusting relationships.

Our Families

Raising a child is a community effort. We create meaningful partnerships with families and develop foundations of understanding each other’s expectations and attitudes, and building on the strength of each other’s knowledge for caring and educating our children.

Our Educators

Our educators are the heart and soul of Juniors Journey EL. We believe the quality and commitment of our professional educators is paramount because the happiness and growth of our children depends on the wellbeing of our teachers. Encouraging a positive team culture as we continue to inspire, reward and invest in the professional development of our people

Community Engagement

An integral aspect of our operation is the involvement of the community. We believe in and nurture strong links with the wider local community, supporting local businesses and initiatives. Working closely with schools, maternal health and the local council to ensure all aspects of the family are supported and recognised.

A word from Naomi

Juniors Journey Center Director – Eglinton

Being an Early Childhood Educator is a wonderful and rewarding profession.

It has always been my passion to work with children and learn and grow alongside them. Children need all the support, care and guidance possible to help them learn and thrive, whilst exploring and discovering a world of new opportunities and possibilities.

Building strong and trusting relationships with families is crucial to provide the best possible care for each child, for them to develop to their full potential. It’s important to instill confidence in children to encourage enthusiasm, motivation, curiosity and an interest to grow as a person.

I pride myself in greeting every individual that walks through our doors with a great deal of respect, excitement, and a warm-hearted smile. Every person, no matter their age is strong, capable, creative, and authentic and everyone plays an important role in our world.

I have always been driven to teach, guide and empower others to reach their potential. As a mentor it’s important to help people see their talent and abilities they have within themselves, that they might not see on their own and help to bring them out and shine. Not only for themselves, but to help them inspire others.

I’m very passionate about the Early Childhood Sector, supporting the rights of every child and supporting their social and emotional wellbeing. I have always been a strong advocate for children and try to go above and beyond to help their voices be heard in my day-to-day practice.

I consider my job as an advocate, educator, and leader, is to create a safe, welcoming, open-ended, and fun environment where children and educators can collaborate to help foster determination, imagination, inquisitiveness and an inspirational place to be, belong and become.

I believe families are the most influential teacher in a child’s life. My ambitious and attentive personality has helped me in the past be able to offer guidance to other educators, children, and families, to support them in their unique early learning journey.

I always try to remember -’A Day without laughter is a day wasted’.

They may forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel.
