The Juniors Journey Difference
TopWe believe that building strong and trusting relationships creates an inspirational space for children to be, belong and become.
First and foremost, we believe the most influential teacher in a child’s life is their family.
By fostering meaningful partnerships with our families, we aim to develop foundations of understanding around everyone’s expectations. By building on the strength of each other’s knowledge, together, we can empower each child to see their unique talents and abilities.
Our educators are the heart and soul of Juniors Journey Early Learning.
We believe the quality and commitment of our educators are paramount. By investing in the wellbeing of our teachers, supporting their professional development and encouraging a positive team culture, we create an environment for the happiness and growth of our children to flourish.
We understand that raising a well-rounded and inspired child is a community effort.
At Juniors Journey, we nurture strong links with our wider local communities, supporting local businesses and initiatives as much as possible. By working closely with schools, maternal health services and local councils, we ensure all aspects of the family are supported and recognised.

Confident, connected and involved learners
TopAt Juniors Journey, we provide resources, equipment and activities to give all children a comprehensive and engaging early learning experience.
Our safe and secure centres provide the perfect environment for children to explore their limits.
Learning to take acceptable and calculated risks is an important part of a child’s development. We provide a pre-assessed space for children to venture into new experiences, tackle challenging and uncertain scenarios and engage in growth-promoting activities.
Our daily activities and special events encourage individual learning journeys and a connected community.
Our regular daily curriculum offers a range of activities and experiences to allow children to develop their own individual interests while also discovering the importance of working with others. We also offer regular incursions to give children exposure to new and different experiences and aspects of life.

At Juniors Journey, we offer a day full of play-based learning and development, catered to your child’s age.
For babies (0 to 2 years old), we provide a balanced day of care, rest and social stimulation. Our everyday routines provide opportunities for your baby to strengthen relationships and build language skills through songs, games and conversations.
For toddlers (2 to 3 years old), our educators plan age-appropriate play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Our activities support all areas of a child’s development, including language and motor movement, memory, concentration, emotions and social relationships.
For preschool children (3+ years old), preparing for ‘big’ school is our key focus. Our preschool programs are taught by a qualified early childhood educator and are designed to help prepare your child both socially and emotionally for the next step in their early education journey.
Play-based learning provides opportunities for children to actively and imaginatively engage with people, objects and their environment. When playing, children may engage in organising, constructing, manipulating, pretending, exploring, investigating, creating, interacting, imagining or negotiating. Play-based learning promotes the holistic development (physical, social, emotional, cognitive and creative) of a child and can also support a broad range of literacy and numeracy skills.
Choosing to send your child to an early learning centre prior to preschool is a completely personal choice, but it can have positive impacts on a child’s learning and development. Enrolling your child at a centre like Juniors Journey allows them to begin developing their social skills and making friends, discover their independence and get used to learning routines. This can help their transition to preschool and ‘big’ school easier.
